 Equestrian Activity
- Colligan Equestrian Centre - Open Tuesday to Saturday all day. Its activities include dressage, hacking, individual lessons, trail riding and a large outdoor arena for hire.
- The Ballyrafter Centre - Open all year round. It has many Showjumping Shows, training courses with qualified resident and many Pony Sales in November.
Game Angling and Sea Fishing
As the river Blackwater flows through much of West Waterford we are very fortunate to have it, as it is abundant in Salmon especially in spring, summer and autumn. Also the river is noted for its Brown trout. The nearby towns of Cappoquin, Ballyduff and Tallow invite you to stay and fish on the famous Blackwater.
