Ballysaggartmore Towers

Magical woodland virtual walk where you will learn about the bad landlord and his jealous wife and what happened to the famine victims of his cruelty. This is a great walk for the family and friends.

St. Declan's Way

The Lismore section of St. Declans Way is a 5km walk, with a short steep incline to a woodland path which leads to the main road. A short break at the top of the incline to enjoy the magnificent views of the Blackwater Valley and some history on the man himself.

Outdoor escape game, in Lismore Millenium Park. Work as part of a team or individually, to escape the park in under 30 minutes. Find hidden clues, crack the puzzles and get the code to the gatekeeper of the park on time. Can you escape?

Guided Town Tour

Walk in the footsteps of history in the company of an expert local guide as you discover the rich heritage of picturesque Lismore town. Hear about the Blackwater Valley Special Area of Conservation and Lismore’s Celtic origins, the monastic foundation in 636AD that led to it becoming an immense centre of learning in the 8th Century. From Viking invasions and Norman settlements, gain insights into the historic Lismore Castle and the famous people who resided there including Fred Astaire and John F. Kennedy.  Then, marvel at the beauty of Carthage’s Cathedral that has remained a site of worship for over 1500 years.
