Daisy’s 1st Race Car

This book was written and illustrated by Irish author Laura Hannon.

“I am a Mechanical Engineer by day and I’ve worked in a male dominated area for over 10 years. It wasn’t always easy and i had to learn a lot of tough lessons along the way. Ultimately, I needed to learn to believe in myself and never let anyone tell me I can’t do something. Daisy is a way of sharing this message. My dream is to empower girls and help the next generation to believe that anything is possible.

Daisy has inspired me to enter the Formula Woman competition to try to become a race car driver. I hope this book inspires you to do something you’ve always dreamed of, just like me.”
