THE HERITAGE CENTRE

THE FIRST STOP FOR ALL VISITORS

Lismore Heritage Centre is tucked away in a quiet quarter of Waterford at the foot of the Knockmealdown mountains and was opened in 1992 to share insights into Lismore’s formidable history and heritage. Lismore is bursting with fun things to do, activities to explore and a chance to visit hidden places otherwise inaccessible. Lock yourself into our Robert Boyle escape room, join us on our walking tours of one of the prettiest towns in Ireland, and immerse yourself in our virtual reality tours of Lismore Castle.

A historic stone building with a central clock tower, arched windows, and a bright red door, offers virtual reality tours. Surrounded by black railings and vibrant flower displays, it blends old-world charm with modern experiences.
A group of people wearing outdoor clothing stand on a grassy riverbank during one of the local walking tours, with one person pointing towards the water. Trees and misty hills are visible in the background, as another person walks further along the path.

TELLING STORIES IS OUR PASSION
